Inflation rate in Azerbaijan makes up 0.9% in October
Inflation rate in Azerbaijan made up 0.9% in October 2010, according to the news service of the State Statistical Committee.
The report says in October, prices on foodstuffs grew 1.4%, on nonfoods by 0.9%, on services by 0.2%.
"The growth in prices were observed on flour, bread, macaronis, beef and mutton, chicken, fish, milk, sour-cream, cheese, eggs, butter and vegetable oil, bananas, pear, tomatoes, onions, potato", the news release says.
Meanwhile, the drop in prices was fixed on rice, lemon, orange, apples, pomegranate, cabbage, beetroot.
The statement reads that the growth in prices is fixed on construction materials, seasonal clothes and footwear, kitchen furniture, soft furniture. In October the decrease in prices among nonfoods were observed on summer skirts, summer shirts and concrete.
By statistical data, the growth in tariffs on international transportation of passengers by means of aviation transport was fixed in October, while decrease in tariffs was observed in transportation of passengers to CIS countries by railroad.
